# Finding your Governance Token Policy ID

It is often easiest to find the Policy ID for a token by using a Cardano wallet that holds that token.

Below explains how to find the Policy ID of an asset held in each wallet type we support.

**Step 1: Open an Eternl wallet that holds your desired Governance Token and navigate to your Token List.**
