This page includes documentation surrounding the functionality of an Agora DAO acting as a Cardano DRep.
When creating an Agora DAO, users have the option of registering the DAO as a DRep. This will allow the DAO to use ADA in its treasury to vote on Cardano governance proposals.
View more information on registering the DAO as a DRep here.
On the Governance page, click +New
Select Create Agora Proposal
Select the template: Vote on Cardano Governance Action
Give the proposal a title and description
On the next page, paste in the Transaction ID of the transaction that was used to create the governance action on-chain. ex) f8393f1ff814d3d52336a97712361fed933d9ef9e8d0909e1d31536a549fd22f00
Then paste in the ID of the governance action you wish to create the proposal for. ex) gov_action1lqun78lcznfa2gek49m3ydslakfnm8heargfp8sax9fk54yl6ghsqp042zv

A Vote on Cardano Governance Action proposal has 4 possible effects:
Vote Yes on Gov Action
Vote No on Gov Action
Vote Abstain on Gov Action
Vote No Action
Whichever effect has the most votes and reaches the required execution threshold set by the DAO, will execute. If no options receive enough votes to execute, no effect will take place on-chain.

If this effect passes, this means that the DAO's ADA balance will be recorded as a yes vote on the governance action included in the proposal.
If this effect passes, this means that the DAO's ADA balance will be recorded as a no vote on the governance action included in the proposal.
If this effect passes, this means that the DAO's ADA balance will be recorded as an abstain vote on the governance action included in the proposal.
If this effect passes, the DAO's proposal will not pass and nothing will be recorded on-chain.
